Our four oldest grandchildren (three aged 5 & one aged 8) have all been wanting to go up to the top of Sydney Tower for a long time. We prebooked the tickets and were lucky enough to have a clear day. The brief 4D film is entertaining, although one of the little one’s was terrified when the White Pointer swam straight at her! For truly epic views of the Harbour City, you can’t beat a visit to the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck. Soaring a mind-blowing 300 metres above the city grid, the tower is the tallest structure and viewing point in Sydney and provides panoramic 360-degree views that have to be seen to be believed!

You’ll start your visit to the Sydney Tower Eye with a very special introduction to the metropolis you’re about to see from above. Don special glasses and settle in to watch Australia’s first 4D cinematic presentation, which takes guests on a ‘flight’ through Sydney. It’s set against a backdrop of exciting special effects, flashing lights and real water spray!

With the memory of the 4D experience still fresh in your mind, you’ll enter the lift for the 40-second ride straight up to the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck. As you step out of the lift, the 360-degree panorama will take your breath away. Take in the city streets far beneath you, the glittering harbour, Botany Bay and Sydney Airport, the Pacific Ocean coastline, and as far away as the beautiful Blue Mountains. Use the free high-powered binoculars to pick out specific landmarks. There are also interactive touch screens available, which provide details about the main points of interest.

See a side of the Harbour City that you’ll never forget by visiting the Sydney Tower Eye Observation Deck. It’s a high-flying experience!
