My husband and young son went on the lunch cruise last week, I am quite familiar with Sydney but my family are not and we thought this would be a nice way to see the Harbour. The booming staff at Darling Harbour were very helpful in obtaining us a good deal which was great. We boarded at Circular Quay, and were greeted by big smiles and shown to our table. A supervisor was doing the rounds greeting passengers and ensuring they knew where the meals and bar was located and information regarding service, as well as exits for the viewing decks, and this was a excellent to see. The lunch and dessert buffets were really good, and plentiful with food being bought out regularly to meet demand. The staff were all smiling and friendly. It was difficult to hear the commentary at times but this was more due to the constant chatter of guests and not a massive issue (and of no fault of the cruise operators). We will definitely look at a longer dinner cruise on our next visit as it was a lovely way to pass the time.

We went on the 2 hour lunch cruise, ok the buffet lunch was nice. Dessert was so basic, I have more for my smoko at work. The wait staff come up and ask if they can take your napkins while your still eating, wanted know if we were finished with our glasses, but we were still drinking. As for the 2 hours? At least 25 minutes of that time is being docked at Darling Harbor for passenger exchange, actually boring. The return trip to Circular Quay was pretty much not quick enough, we just wanted to get off, waste of money.

It was a lunchtime cruise with a group of friends. We were very well catered for as we slowly cruised around the harbour, looking at all the attractions.

My son bought me this experience for Christmas. It was a stunning day on the harbour. The food was very good but the wine was rather expensive. In all a decent couple of hours.

Great lunch today. If taking this cruise I urge you to get a window table and to dock at King St Wharf at 12 noon rather than embarking from Circular Quay at 12:30pm. Buffet was basic but tasty & seafood was fresh. There was smoked salmon, prawns and oysters. Overall a lovely treat for our Sydney holiday!
