We always think it’s good to start with a city hop on / hop off bus tour and this was true for Perth. Booked on-line which was easy, showed the email to the bus driver who had to write down the details before issuing the tickets. This didn’t take long but could take awhile if there were several? Not sure why in this day and age why it needs to be written down? Either way the bus journey was a great way to see Perth and the audio was clear and interesting. Was it good value? About right. You save $5 by booking on line. If you’re over 60years or a student that’s another $5 off as well.

I visited here a few days ago. Did a couple of laps of the city, so that I got to see everything I wanted to see. Driver was great, very informative & quite comical. Great thing to do.

Would have been good to hear the commentary but it was drowned out by the noises from motor, brakes and traffic!

A perfect way to have a general look around the city and to get to all attractions without hassle. The drive through the botanical gardens is wonderful if you sit on the top deck.

I booked online which is perfect when your traveling as you save money online! The driver was super nice and great to talk to. When I asked about how long I would need at certain places he was great and really suggest walking around the kings park and botanical gardens. He even gave me a mini map he had made so I knew where to go for the walk and where to meet the bus again! Such a great guy! Can’t wait to book for the Fremantle tour in the next few days!

Great to see/learn the maximum in just one day. The one-hourly service, however, is only sufficient for three one-hour stops. A twenty minute service, like that in Berlin and others, would give much more flexibility. The tour around Kings Park is most welcome.
