‘Firstly, our driver Rob was fantastic. Very friendly and informative. We travelled with a small group, and the toilet facilities and air conditioning on the coach made for a comfortable trip. Our first stop at Mornington could have been shorter to allow for more time at the winery. The chocolate tasting was delicious. More time at Mock Red Hill Cider would also have been appreciated. There were photos stops for some beautiful views on the way home. A wonderful day!’

The coach came on time. Unfortunately fellow passengers wont on time and it caused some delays. We only got away |after 8:30am. Was quite a long wait. The trip was ok. We had morning tea at a quiet pier. Nothing much to see. Then we headed to wine tasting and choc tasting. The choc tasting wasn’t interesting. We were cramped at the shop and tasted 3 small blocks of choc. And that’s it. We went for lunch. Lunch was too much. Most of us couldn’t finish it. After lunch we went for cider tasting and this was good. Freeze-dried fruits were nice and choc-strawberry was good. We then headed to strawberry picking before taking the Eagle at Arthurs Seat. Overall, it was a leisurely paced day tour.

Day started with being picked up on time. Headed off with Paul providing information and a safe trip to the Peninsula. Had a short stroll around Mornington, then off to a winery. Very nice setting and nice wine. Some of the tour headed to the hot springs whilst we were at the winery. A visit to a chocolaterie was nice. Nice lunch at the bakery. The Mock Red Hill Ciders was a real surprise. Lovely ciders, dried fruit and coated buts. Picked some lovely strawberries then spectacular views from the Eagles Nest chair lift. Lovely views, good food and a very relaxing day.
