I've been to Luna Park on several occasions with school groups for an excursion. This was my first visit with a group friends and family. Though the park is certainly no big theme park there are plenty of rides for all ages and level of thrill seekers. There wasn't a huge wait for rides. The most we had to wait was 30 min. There was a good atmosphere. The food is very over priced, especially for what it is. You are also able to take your own food or purchase food from other places to take to the venue. It is great that you don't have to pay an entry fee and only have to pay if you are going on the rides. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I had two children who couldn't ride by themselves. The staff were happy for me to go on with one child and then stay on and swap with the second child.

Good rides and lots of fun but understaffed. Some rides only have one person unloading loading checking and starting the rides so seems to take an unnecessarily really long time for each ride. Also many rides were allowing 1 person in 2/3 seats/carts and even the ferries wheel gondolas!!!! Even when there were huge huge lines!!!!!

Although there aren't a large assortment of rides, Luna Park is a fun activity to do during the day or night. Some of the rides are fun and can cater to both children and adults. However, as there aren't that many rides or new rides, can get boring if you visit more than a couple of times. Would recommend the Tango Train, Wild Mouse and Mountain Ranger.

We were on the way to Wendy’s Gardens nearby and I had dismissed Luna park as a rundown relic. How wrong was I. Unbelievable. I was blown away how by good it was. I would definitely return. Very nostalgic and the children appeared to absolutely love the “tame” games and attractions of yesteryear.

We visited Luna Park today for my sons birthday and we all had a lovely day. The staff were amazing and helpful especially all the lady n gents at the side shows. Seriously would give them all 5/5. Tip for anyone visiting: pack refreshments as they can be costly as they always are when out and about. Brought tickets online and saved $4 a ticket. We will be back for another visit real soon.
