‘The tour was well structured, quite informative and we feel we were allowed enough time at each of the different locations we went to. Our driver and guide had a great sense of humour too. I would highly recommend this tour.’

It was an eventful 9 hours and despite the long commute and our guide Ben made it funny! The trip started with a stopover on Churchill Island where the scenery was simply picturesque, followed by the Koala Conservation Centre where we could see cutie Koalas eating or sleeping in front of us (well that was luck though). On our way to Phillip Island my kids were counting the wallabies they saw from the bus and there were 68! Needless to say the penguins’ return home was a perfect finale for the trip but one needed more patience. Some people were so impatient that they left very quickly and we managed to get to the front row. We eventually saw quite a few groups of penguins returning home and my kids were thrilled! No photos are allowed there so I can’t show how lovely the tiny penguins were!

James was our driver and guide and he was amusing, friendly and very informative about Melbourne and Australia in general. He gave us some great tips for where to sit for the penguins, and where to get the best views of them coming in. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone and they would be very lucky to have James as their driver!

Yesterday we did this penguin parade tour with driver James. Had a brilliant day. Saw loads of wildlife, more than just penguins. We have limited time in Melbourne so was a great way to get a few ticks off list. James definitely knew his stuff about area so we were well informed and got the best from trip. Pick ups were on time, coaches clean and comfy. If I had to make a negative comment, I wasn't keen on the zoo. It didn't have the same attitude to animal management. Pens were small and kangaroos when feed we're keen to eat, are they being under fed or are we tourists overfeeding them. In all a great day, and fun thanks to James' humour.
