‘After spending a week exploring Sydney, my husband and I decided to take a tour to the Hunter Valley. Our tour driver/guide Stephen was fantastic. He pointed out things to look at on the way. The tastings were informative, and the hosts were passionate about their wines. The additional kangaroo sightings were amazing. Thank you for an awesome day. It was a great way to meet other people from overseas and above all to escape the city. I will definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family.’

We had a great day with our guide Tony. Great wine, fantastic lunch and just enough time for shopping. Tony is humorous, very knowledgeable and drives smooth enough to have a nap on the way back to Sydney. Thanks for rolling out the red carpet Tony!

We were supposed to take this trip with another company, but were switched to this one due to low turnout. The itinerary was not as good, the wineries were average, and the lunch was a total disappointment. We were put in a back room and then forgotten, received the wine to pair before the food, which came with little time left to eat it, and it was of poor quality. Our driver was very good, however, informative and interesting. But the sights we went to were not what we had hoped for. The first winery was informative, but at the second one we barely had time to ask questions and were simply given different wines with no explanations and little information. This trip was a definite disappointment and I would not recommend it. In retrospect we should have simply canceled it when we were told that the one we had previously reserved was not taking place.

I had an amazing full day on the Hunter Valley wine tasting tour. The bus arrived on time and was very comfortable. Our guide John was a passionate person and has a huge knowledge about Sydney and its history. This is a very interesting and relaxing tour and we were given adequate time to taste and purchase the wines. The highlight of the tour was the stop at the McGuigan Vineyard where we learnt more about the wine making process and tasted some very nice wines. Thanks again.

We had a very pleasant day with John as our guide. He is a very amiable young man. And quite informative. We went to 3 wineries with lunch at the second. The food was good but it would have been nice to hear about the wines and winery. The staff we met at Ernest Hills and McGuigan were very nice and informative. As it was a Sunday we didn’t get to a cheese shop but the chocolate shop was delicious. A highlight was to spot some kangaroos in the distance.

It’s an excellent wind tasting tour with our guide/driver John. and I truly enjoyed it very much! John has done great with extra miles taking us for the cheese and chocolate tasting events, as well as very knowledgeable and considerate throughout the entire journey! I enjoyed the 3rd stop, McGuigan winerary very much, with the wine tour guide Margo. She was fun and vivid that made the entire course and very joyful and pleasant one. The tour on the wine making process was up close and personal. She was also very generous in the selections and portion that we had chances to taste several premium wines exclusive to club members and not on the list. This helped complete the trip very well and beyond expectation. I also enjoyed the 2nd stop, the lunch and wine/cheese tasting at Two Fat Blokes Winery/Kitchen. The venue atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. And the lunch has 4 health choices with large plates of starters to share. Our first stop was at Ernest Hill Winery. The setup was nice but it could be more amiable and interactive via the introduction and tasting process. The session rep was nice but was running 3-4 groups at the same time. I recommend the tour with no reservation.
