Im not one for the generic tourist activities but this tour was incredible. Our tour guide Matt is a true blue Aussie who had great insights and knowledge of the area and made the trip a great laugh. He gave us ideas for some future exploring which we will definitely do around the area and the half day was the perfect amount of time.

If you've just arrived in Cairns and want a taste of what the city and surrounds have to offer, then this trip is for you. Our guide, Eric, was bang on time picking up and gave us lots of useful information. Lots of places visited in the 5.5hrs of the tour, some great views, lots of history during our half hour in the amazing museum, and the Botanical Gardens were beautiful. The trip includes a pit stop for a cream tea in Edge Hill. The tour culminated in a brief visit to Barren Gorge and Palm Cove. It gave us lots of ideas for return visits.

I took this discovery tour today. Our guide and driver was Eric, we were a party of 8, and had a very enjoyable time all together from 1 pm to 6 pm. This tour is well paced, it is highly informative, Eric was an excellent guide who taught us a lot in many different fields. We visited St Monicà s Cathedral and admired the incredible stained glass panels, then we received a warm welcome from Phil at the Cairns museum and were given an insight into the history of Cairns and its first inhabitants, as well as into the more recent development of the city. Then we enjoyed afternoon tea with delicious scones, jam and cream, before a visit to the botanic gardens. Later we went up to the hydro plant of the Barron Gorge and finally to Palm Cove for a stroll on the jetty. We were pampered through the afternoon ! The two of us in the group with some degree of impaired mobility received a lot of help from Eric when climbing into the vehicle or getting out of it. This was highly appreciated. I loved this tour, it is worth every cent of the price and I would recommend it to all those who want to know more about Cairns and its surroundings. The cherry on the cake : lovely music on the way back from Palm Cove ! Many thanks to Eric, our 5-star guide on this memorable tour.

He was very friendly, funny and accommodating. Anyone can do this tour and you will see some sights not available on any other tours. Will definitely book with them again on our next visit. Thank you so much for such a great tour of cairns
