‘My wife and I loved this tour. From the minute we boarded the coach, our guide was interacting with the group — remembering names and nationalities, asking questions about where we were from, and offering advice for our stay. His knowledge of Sydney was amazing. He was full of historical information, fun facts and personal recommendations, and has an obvious passion for the city. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sydney.’ Chad P

What you can expect
This Sydney Morning City Tour by coach is the prefect introduction to the Harbour City for first-time visitors. You’ll enjoy the services of a knowledgeable and enthusiastic local guide, and see the city’s landmarks in air-conditioned comfort. A visit to beautiful Bondi Beach is included, as is a short guided walking tour of The Rocks colonial heritage precinct. If you’re short on time and want to see as much as possible, this tour delivers a wonderful mix of engaging history and culture, stunning architecture, and spectacular natural beauty. It’s the complete Sydney sightseeing package!
Once CBD hotel pick-ups are completed, your Sydney Morning City Tour will get underway. Your first stop is The Rocks precinct on the harbour’s edge. This is one of the oldest parts of Sydney, and dates back to the first settlement. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour with a specialist guide. See amazing historical architecture and learn about the area’s storied past. You’ll wander along small cobbled laneways and through colonial passages. This is truly an opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in Old Sydney Town. [More]
From there, you’ll return to your comfortable coach before heading off to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair — one of the best places in the city for views of the sublime Sydney Opera House and the majestic Harbour Bridge. As you drive around the city, your guide will point out places of interest, including St Mary’s Cathedral, Parliament House, Sydney Tower, Town Hall, the Art Gallery of NSW, Chinatown, Darling Harbour and the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden.
You’ll also travel through the vibrant Kings Cross precinct — notorious in past decades for its shady characters and colourful nightlife, and trendy Paddington — where boutiques, bars and bustling cafes line both sides of Oxford Street. You’ll also take in some of the multi-million-dollar mansions of the Eastern Suburbs.
Your final stop is at Bondi Beach — possibly one of the most famous patches of sand in the world. Home to the hit TV series Bondi Rescue, you’ll have around 30 minutes to explore the esplanade or head down to the water’s edge for a quick paddle.
Even with such an attraction-packed itinerary, this Sydney Morning City Tour never feels rushed. See everything from the comfort of your coach and enjoy Sydney at a relaxed pace. Be sure to ask your guide for a restaurant recommendation for lunch at Darling Harbour as you disembark for the final time at the buzzing King Street Wharf.
