‘The whole day was amazing from start to finish. At Featherdale Wildlife Park you can hand-feed kangaroos, and see koalas and many other birds and animals. Then you continue on to Leura for your lunch stop. It’s a pretty little town. At Scenic World there are three different rides — the Cableway, Railway and Skyway. At Echo Point you get a fantastic panoramic view of the Blue Mountains, including the Three Sisters. Then we drove to Parramatta to catch the ferry back to Sydney. It was a perfect day!’ Tony S

What you can expect
The beauty of this all-inclusive Blue Mountains Day Tour with Lunch and Scenic World Rides is that you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy your day in the magical mountains, knowing that everything is taken care of and there’s no need to put your hand in your pocket — except to buy an ice cream! This is by far our most popular Blue Mountains tour, and with good reason. It includes all the signature experiences that the region is most renowned for. Meet incredible wildlife, see the sweeping Jamison Valley and the majestic Three Sisters rock formation, visit the quaint town of Leura, and ride the fabulous Scenic Railway, Skyway and Cableway. The river cruise back to Sydney is simply the icing on the cake!
Once selected CBD hotel pick-ups have been completed, you’ll depart Sydney in a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Your first stop is the renowned Featherdale Wildlife Park at Doonside. Here you’ll have the opportunity to meet a range of native Australian animals. There are wallabies and kangaroos to hand-feed, and beautiful birds to admire. It’s also a chance for visitors to learn about Australia’s endangered species. [More]
After departing the wildlife park, this Blue Mountains Day Tour with Lunch and Scenic World Rides begins to climb the Blue Mountains proper — passing through several small towns and villages. Your next stop is the quaint village of Leura, which is renowned for its stunning gardens. You’ll have some time to explore the main street’s boutiques, before settling in to a charming eatery for your included two-course lunch.
From there, you’ll continue on to Echo Point in the mountain township of Katoomba for a photo opportunity in front of the famous Three Sisters. You’ll also have time to take in the incredible views across the Jamison Valley. It’s Australia’s answer to the Grand Canyon!
Your next stop is Scenic World on the clifftop overlooking the Jamison Valley and Katoomba Falls. You’ll have ample free time to ride the Scenic Railway, Cableway and Skyway in the order of your choice.
The Scenic Skyway is a 720-metre trip from one side of a deep ravine to the other, travelling in a cable car suspended 270 metres above the forested terrain below! The 360-degree views are sensational.
The Scenic Cableway descends 545 metres into the Jamison Valley. The ride provides fabulous views of the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock and Katoomba Falls.
The Scenic Railway is the steepest passenger railway journey in the world. Once used to haul coal up from the mines on the valley floor (still visible), the Scenic Railway has been thrilling passengers of all ages for decades.
Sadly, it’s time to head for home — but instead of fighting the afternoon traffic all the way back to Sydney, you’ll board a river cruise boat at Homebush Bay Wharf and enjoy a relaxing trip along the Parramatta River to the CBD. Admire the magnificent homes that line the river and cruise right under the soaring Sydney Harbour Bridge. The tour ends at Circular Quay.
This Blue Mountains Day Tour with Lunch and Scenic World Rides is the complete sightseeing package, and a wonderful way to explore the region.

It was an early start for this tour, but well worth it. The whole day was amazing from start to finish. At Featherdale Wildlife Park you can hand-feed kangaroos, and see koalas and many other birds and animals. There's just enough time before you get back on the bus to continue on to Leura for your lunch stop. It's a pretty little town. At Scenic World there are three different rides — the Cableway, Railway and Skyway, and there's enough time for a walk in the forest. At Echo Point you get a fantastic panoramic view of the Blue Mountains, including the Three Sisters. Then we drove to Parramatta to catch the ferry back to Sydney. It was a perfect day!
