After a morning pick up from your CBD hotel, you’ll head east from the city towards Healesville. The drive takes around 90 minutes, through picturesque rural scenery. Once you arrive at Healesville Sanctuary you’ll have the entire morning to explore at your leisure.

Spend your time viewing the wildlife species that interest you most. Visit the sanctuary’s specialist precincts, including Animals of the Night, Dingo Country, Koala Forest and the Land of Parrots. The Tasmanian devil enclosure is always popular. Meet wombats, kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, emus and even the highly elusive platypus.
