Our guide was quite informative and we learned interesting facts about Melbourne (history, art and architecture) and explored cool lanes and arcades. I try and do a food tour in each new place I visit and unlike other food tours I've done, this one is mainly light bites of speciality/artisanal items rather that heavier tastings of different types of cuisine. Dumplings are the heartiest item. The rest of the tour featured small samples of local treats such as coffee, olive oil and honey. Not bad or good, just something to know going in.
