The itinerary is as follows:
Day 1 (D)
It’s an early start on this 2 Day Melbourne to Sydney Tour, as you leave the CBD and head northeast towards the picturesque Victorian Alps. You’ll visit the gorgeous mountain town of Kinglake, and ‘feel the serenity’ of Bonnie Doon (made famous by the Aussie hit movie The Castle).
Next stop is Mansfield, in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, where you’ll learn about bushranger Ned Kelly, visit a wildlife rescue project and take in magnificent views from Powers Lookout.
Then it’s on to the historic town of Beechworth. Enjoy a free tour of Beechworth Honey, or taste the liquid wares at Bridge Road Brewers. This is also a great spot to grab some lunch (own expense).
The day ends in Yerong Creek, where you’ll experience life on a working farm and have dinner with your host family.
Day 2 (B)
The tour sets off bright and early towards Wagga Wagga. You’ll make a refreshment stop at Gundagai, then head on to fabulous Canberra. You’ll visit some of the capital’s top attractions (including the renowned National Gallery), and take a tour of Parliament House.
The final stop on this amazing journey is Sydney. You’ll arrive in the Harbour City at around 7.30pm.
